Payment, refunds and access
The rules are the same on every course. Only the amounts and the number of payments differ, and both are listed below, course by course.
How payment works
You pay for one course and one cohort. There is no subscription that covers everything.
- By Mir card or by QR through SBP, straight from the course page.
- Foreign-issued cards do not work: the payment is declined on the bank side.
- If a company is paying, the student office issues the invoice — send the company name and the course in the chat.
- The price is fixed at the moment of payment: if the course gets more expensive later, nothing changes for your cohort.
- There are no standing discounts and no promo codes: one price for everyone.
- We do not issue the paperwork for a tax deduction.
Paying in instalments
The instalment plan is ours: the course price split into equal payments. No bank is involved, there is no interest, and we ask for no paperwork.
- The number of payments differs by course and is shown on the course page along with the size of one payment.
- The shortest courses have no instalment option: there is not much to split.
- The first payment is made when you sign up, the rest monthly on the same date. It is all set up in the student area; there is nothing to negotiate in the chat.
- You can pay the balance off early at any point, and it costs nothing extra to do so.
- If a payment does not arrive, access is paused while the cohort carries on: the recordings will still be there afterwards, the live reviews will not.
- An instalment plan belongs to one course. The remaining balance cannot be moved to a different one.

Refunds
There is one rule, and it depends only on when you raise the question.
Before the day the cohort starts
You get the whole amount back. We do not ask why.
During the first two weeks of the cohort
You get the course price back minus the weeks that have already run. One week costs the course price divided by the number of weeks in the programme; both figures are on the course page.
After the first two weeks
No money back. Instead you may move once to the next cohort of the same course, as long as you ask before the current one ends.
Once the certificate has been issued
No refund: the course counts as completed.
Asking for a refund
- Refunds are handled by the student office. Send the course, the cohort start date and how far you got — that is enough to work out the amount.
- The money goes back to the card it came from. How long it takes is up to the bank, usually a few working days.
- A refund closes the instalment plan: no further payments are taken, and the ones already made are counted by the same rule.
- Access to the materials closes on the day of the refund.
The certificate
The certificate confirms that the work was handed in and accepted. It is not a diploma and not a formal education document.
- Two things are required: at least 80% of the homework accepted, and the final project defended.
- The language courses have no final project; a closing interview with a curator takes its place.
- Work has to be handed in before the cohort ends. After that it is not reviewed — by then the team is running the next cohort.
- The certificate appears in the student area within a week of the cohort ending: a PDF, in your name, with a number on it.
- The number can be verified: send it in the chat and we will confirm who the certificate was issued to and for which course.
- If you fell short, you can earn the certificate with the next cohort of the same course. There is no separate resit.
Access to the materials
Everything to do with studying lives in the student area: the schedule, the materials, homework and the certificate.
- Materials open on the day the cohort starts. Until then the student area shows the schedule and the list of what you will need, but not the lessons themselves.
- After the cohort ends the materials stay open for another twelve months. That period cannot be extended, and we do not promise lifetime access.
- The recording of a live review appears in the student area the next day and follows the same rule as the rest of the materials.
- One account, one student. Signing in from a laptop and a phone is fine; handing your access to someone else is not, and accounts that do get closed.
- There are no classes or live reviews from 31 December to 8 January. Cohorts running through that period shift by a week; the materials stay open throughout.
- You can reset the password yourself on the sign-in page with the "Forgot password" button. If the reset does not work, write to us in the chat.
When access stops working
One sentence, several different causes, and each is fixed a different way. Find yours: some of them need no chat at all.
It will not let me in: the password is rejected.
Why it happens
Usually a password from a different service, or a different address: the account is not on the one the payment came from.
What to do
Reset the password on the sign-in page. If the reset does not go through, tell us in the chat which address the account is on and the student office will find it and say what went wrong.
Who takes it from there
Student office
I can sign in, but the course is not in my student area.
Why it happens
Most often the cohort has not started yet: lessons open on the start date, not before.
What to do
Check your cohort start date against the schedule. If that date has passed and the course is still missing, it is the next case below, not this one.
Who takes it from there
Student office
The cohort is under way, the payment went through, and the course still is not there.
Why it happens
The payment did not match the account. That happens when someone else paid, or when the access was set up on one address and the payment made on another.
What to do
Send the date, time and amount of the payment in the chat. The student office will find it and open the access — a surname alone is not enough to locate a payment.
Who takes it from there
Student office
My access disappeared in the middle of the course.
Why it happens
A missed instalment payment: access is paused until the payment arrives.
What to do
Pay the outstanding instalment in the student area and access comes back the same working day. Recordings from the paused period will be waiting; the live classes will not.
Who takes it from there
Student office
The course finished a long time ago and the materials no longer open.
Why it happens
The access period for the materials has run out; it was never open-ended.
What to do
It cannot be extended. If you join the next cohort of the same course, the materials open again along with it.

Payment, instalments, refunds and access are all handled in the chat on this site: it is the single way in, and from there a request goes to the right team.
