Repair status
Find out where your device is. Two things are needed: the job number from your receipt and the last four digits of the phone number taken at intake. The number on its own is not enough — anyone could then read anyone else's repair.
This is a demo site and you have no receipt. Open a ready-made example: R-2468 · 5539
Will you notify me when it is ready? We send no automatic notifications — no texts, no emails. When the device is ready the bench rings the number on your receipt. The status itself you can ask for in the chat at any hour, including the middle of the night.
What the stages mean
A stage is where your device is right now. Two stages sit outside the step count: one can be entered from several places and left again, and the other is where the work ends.
- Accepted
- The device is with us, the receipt is written, and it is queuing for the diagnostics bench.
- Diagnostics
- The device is open on the bench and the fault is being tracked down — this is the stage a price comes out of.
- Estimate sent
- The fault is found, the figure is worked out and it has gone to you. Nothing starts until you answer.
- Awaiting approval
- You have the estimate and we have no answer yet. The device is lying in pieces, waiting for a decision.
- In repair
- The estimate is approved and the work is under way. Nothing is needed from you at this point.
- Waiting for a part
- Work has started and run into a part we do not have on the shelf. It is on order — the one stage whose timing is not ours to control.
- Ready for collection
- The repair is finished, the device is back together and tested, and it is waiting at the counter.
- Collected
- The work is done and the device is back with you.
- Repair declined
- You saw the estimate and decided against the repair. The device has been put back together and only the diagnostics is payable.
